Coaching sessions are held every two weeks and last 90 minutes. Holiday breaks occur in late August and late December. The schedule is available online at this website.
Choose a lesson time you can maintain consistently. Because the studio is usually near or at capacity, rescheduling options are limited. If you need to make a change, request it as early as possible. You may reschedule a session with one full week's notice and may take a leave for one calendar month each year, provided you give one month's notice.
Songkraft operates on a yearly tuition model, with monthly payments. Rather than charging per lesson—which often results in higher fees and less consistent training—this approach offers lower rates in exchange for regular attendance and a steady financial commitment. Students are expected to participate continuously, though they only need one full month’s notice to withdraw.
Coaching sessions are held on statutory holiday Mondays to ensure Monday students aren't disadvantaged. Because the studio is often fully booked, makeups aren’t guaranteed. However, students may also coordinate time swaps with others.
Tuition is paid via monthly post-dated cheques collected for September through August and dated the 20th for the following month's lessons. For example, August 20th for September, etc. The annual cycle runs from September through August. All workshops and performance events are included at no additional cost. If you join mid-month, we'll adjust fees accordingly for that month.
First-time students can pay by e-transfer for their initial month to allow for a trial period and time to prepare post-dated cheques. No notice is required if you leave during your first month. Distance students should send cheques by Xpresspost or courier, c/w a tracking number.
To cancel your enrollment, provide notice on or before the first day of the month to withdraw at the end of that same month. We will return or shred any remaining cheques at your request. We do not offer partial-month refunds or alternate payment methods, and we keep all financial information strictly confidential.
Performance opportunities are invitational. We treat your commitment to a project professionally; therefore, withdrawing from a confirmed performance will limit future opportunities.
The studio shares general updates and group-specific messages via WhatsApp. Please read all communications carefully, and avoid replying to group messages with personal questions. For individual or personal matters, message the coach directly via SMS.
